Perhaps one of the admins might want to look into this - blogs (I assume from Joe User) probably shouldn't be showing up in the GalCiv off-topic forum. Admittedly this IS off topic, but this is way off topic.

My bad... I'll try to find a catagory that works.  I assumed that off-topic was an open area.  If there are suggestions where I should stick my posts please tell me.

First, I'm pretty sure that being in the Off-topic thread does not guarantee any association with the GalCiv communities. This topic is shared by several, but not all, sites owned by Stardock.

That point aside, it seems like Ben is a student looking for a 'place' to let him do some 'online homework' for a class. I have a pretty healthy contempt for much of what passes for 'online study' these days, but I have a stronger respect for the Stardock tradition of being an open and supportive community. If Ben is just here to learn by doing some 'online homework,' he should be welcome and the rest of us should feel free to ignore the thread if we'd like.

(I admit I'm a long-time supporter of No Topic is Wrong for Off-topic, but even when I whip up my sympathies for keeping down flamewars and not scaring the under-18s too much, this one seems a pretty benign 'offender.')

This is interesting.  I am using Impulse with the community tab to write this blog - if it is ending up on a forum I am confused.  I'll keep looking around the program/site to see if the error is mine.
